Fast forward

Okay..I know I have so much to catch up on here on our blog...but pardon me while I fast forward to our HUGE life change coming up soon!  We. are. moving. to. Kansas.   There. I said it.  It has been announced to family, friends, the facebook world, etc., but I thought I should also put a little post about it on the blog.  Maybe for me to have to look back on and see what I was thinking/feeling about all of this.  Because, I know, in a year or so, I will look back and think, "What was I worried about?" But in the moment, right now, I'm freaking out.  Seriously.  Not outwardly, and not constantly.  But that panicky feeling is definitely there.  My biggest worry/fear is finding a place to live.  I know, that shouldn't be my focus, but for some reason, it is!  Along with that, how in the world will we sell our house?  I babysit 5-8 kids a day here at our house.  Seriously, how can we show a house with so many kids in and out each day?  I don't know.  I am hoping our dear Lord has a plan for us, for our housing, and for my irrational fears.  I know He does.....but I sure wish He would just enlighten me a little.  :) On a brighter note, we are here in OK through the school year.  That is a lifesaver to me (and the people I babysit for!).  At least I don't feel rushed.  And, let me also say, I am SO happy Josh has a job to look forward to.  What a relief for him...I know it's been a stressful 2 1/2 years for him too....I hate to dwell on my craziness.  We will be blessed by living in Kansas..I just know it.

I know......

It's been FOREVER  since I've posted a blog!!!  AAAAHHHH!!  Life has been a little crazy around here.  Josh graduates in 2 days, though, so surely life will slow down a little....right?

HA. HA.

Well....I'm going to let these pics speak for themselves. We went camping with some great friends down in Lawton and hiked at Mt. Scott. SO fun!

BUCKS!

What a season!!  Dustin was PUMPED to play football...I found out I'm not a football mom, but am becoming better at it....HA!  He loved every minute of every practice, scrimmage, game...he had a blast!  Well....let me rephrase...he loved everything but the broken arm at his first scrimmage.  Could've done without that!  Thankfully it was minor...only 2 1/2 weeks in the cast, and a few weeks of strengthening, and he was ready to play!  He is a great football player!

No words needed for these pics...they all speak for themselves.  I just have to say I'm so glad their last game was so awesome...they needed a good win like that!

Dylan

The previous 2 posts were all Jo and Dustin...so here's Dylan!

His baseball team got a trophy for the spring season!! Way to go, Arsenal!  Don't pay attention to his shirt in the pic....we didn't get the trophy til late in the summer....and he just happened to be wearing an old baseball shirt!

At the zoo....he loves the birds!

Waiting on Jodee at gymnastics...wearing his Iron Man costume.  I'm so glad he still does this.  I don't want him to grow up yet.

We went to the cub scouts info meeting and he made a juice box boat:

All kinds of fun!
We decided not to do cub scouts...weekly meetings didn't work with our crazy schedule...and we do most of the fun activities as a family anyways.  In fact...we are preparing to do our own box car derby.  Ha..that should be interesting!

Go JO!

Jodee qualified to go to the All-State banquet for gymnastics this year!  This is for the girls that score a 37.00 all around or more, or place 1, 2, or 3 at State meet.  She did it! Even after a broken foot!! WOOHOO!  We are so proud!

 Way to go, Jodee!
