We quickly made a run to Dr. Wright's office, and the girls there are SO nice, and SO helpful...we're going to get the same frames at wholesale price tomorrow so we can use the same lenses, and this summer get brand new glasses! Woohoo! We're excited for the new ones. Jodee tried on some really cute frames...can't wait!

Happy Birthday Josh!
What a fun birthday weekend! Josh's parents (Mimi and Paw paw) came for a visit--we love it when they're here! We enjoyed a nice evening Friday, and filled up our Saturday with all kinds of fun stuff, and sadly said goodbye on Sunday. Saturday we took them to the Science Museum because it was WAY too cold to do anything outside! I think they enjoyed it. We always have a good time there...never a dull moment!
Here's Paw paw and Dustin checking out the waves:

Dylan's on the news!
Mimi and Jodee in a tornado! (It was supposed to be windy, but it wasn't working. We'll just pretend.)We also did some shopping...I say some. I think we shopped more this weekend than I have in the past month! It was fun!
We loved our visit with you, Pam and Jerry! We love you!
P.S.Dustin's baseball team had a practice game Sunday, and they looked AWESOME! I am so excited for the season to start. Dylan was supposed to have a practice on Saturday, but thankfully it was cancelled. We would've frozen!

The Nadia Comaneci Invitational
This past weekend was SO much fun! (Oh, and tiring!) The Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy has a "Nadia" meet every year, but it's usually small, and held at their gym. This year, they went all out! They held it at the Cox Communications building in downtown OKC, and it was a 3 day event. Yes, I judged 3 days in a row! It made for a great paycheck...and lots of gymnastics.
Saturday night, they had an international elite meet. There were girls there from Romania, Ukraine, Israel, Mexico, and Russia. The floor gold medal winner from the olympics competed too! I was able to get Jodee and myself in, and we had a great time! She got a little tired of it after a few hours...and wondered why they were all doing the same things. Ha ha....made me laugh! They really were doing some amazing gymnastics, and I promise it wasn't all the same.
The pictures I took turned out blurry, of course, but you get the idea:

Member night at Science Museum Oklahoma
Being a member sometimes pays off. Last night was one of those times! We were able to go to the museum/aka Omniplex, at night...when they normally close at 5. It was fun to have Josh with us! They gave out free popcorn and cokes the whole evening, and had a "Science Live" mini show--complete with explosions! We got a reduced rate to see the "Shipwreck" pirate exhibit....glad it was cheaper, we didn't really think it was worth the extra money. It was fun, but not $32 fun!
Overall it was a great evening! The kids got to pick out a set of marbles from the store there on our way out--planet marbles...like Mars, Milky Way, and Stardust. They feel pretty cool with their new marbles. Who knew a bag of marbles could make a kid so happy?
Here's my sweet family looking at a photo of a real shipwreck on the bottom of the ocean... it was interactive and they could zoom in on certain parts of the photo and read about what it was, and what it was used for. Pretty neat!

Feeling Hurricane force winds--(category 1)--80 mph!
