'Full Service' Tour

I had a GREAT time at another New Kids concert Friday night in Dallas!! They put on an awesome show...it was SO much fun!
This time it was at an outdoor venue, and thankfully, we couldn't have asked for better weather. The Jabbawockeez (I really don't know how to spell their name!) were the opener again, and they were still fun to watch!
Here are the Jabbawockeez:
Angie and me (thanks for going again, Ang!!)

Yes, this is hot:

And this:

Here is their 'Full Service' song...

'My Favorite Girl':
WHAT A GREAT TIME!! I had a blast--so glad to have a wonderful friend to enjoy it with me! Thanks, Josh, for putting up with my obsession...(and, I think it's funny the kids think you look like DW!!)

Heeeeeeeere's RUDY!!!

It's a funny little story, how we got a new puppy, but THANK YOU to a friend from college, and to my sister-in-law for making it happen!!!

Our new puppy is Rudy, he's a mix of Beagle and Yorkie/Pomeranian. He weighs less than 2 lbs., and is precious!
Size comparison to Miley: (yes, she's winking for the camera!)
On the drive home: his favorite place!

See what I mean?

We are having SO much fun with him! He's so much easier than Miley....and I am realizing just how much I missed having a small dog around the house!!

Fowler reunion

We had such a fun weekend in Austin! The annual Fowler Family Reunion was hosted by Josh's parents, and they did a GREAT job! I will let the pictures talk for themselves...
Dustin and Quentin swimmin' in Mimi's pool:

Dylan and Cason--great buddies!
Coby and Jodee.....sweet story about these 2: We were headed home, and Summer (Coby's momma and my sister-in-law) texted me to tell me that Coby asked if he could marry his cousin, and was so sad when she told him no! So cute....I'm sure they will get a laugh out of this when they're older.

I absolutely LOVE this picture of Pop pop and KK with 3 of their great grandkids! The great slip-n-slide!! (Just ask Casey!!)

Dylan posing to look like he's jumping in....so funny! He is here with his 3rd? cousin, Brock. He kept asking me, "What's my friends' name again?" and I would tell him, "Brock". He would say it over and over, but still ended up calling him 'Brick'.

Best friends: Samantha and Jodee!

Unfortunately, I don't have pics of ALL the cousins, but we love you all!! Had a great weekend!

4th of July

We started our day off with the Edmond parade....it was fun! Here we are with our friends, Molly and Sarah.

Dustin wasn't feeling well, so he left the parade early. Josh was happy to leave with him!!

Here are our cupcakes for the day: And, our flag shirts (thanks Aunt Karen!)

We had a great day hanging out with my family! The weather was awesome (even the rain!!), and we couldn't have had a better day.

Back up for a moment...

I missed a lot of different things in the past 2 weeks....Father's Day, our 12th anniversary, VBS, and my Grandma K visiting from California. I won't completely recap everything, but here's a few pics of the fun.

VBS '09 Joshua! Yes, my husband had to get a shirt because it has his name on it!!!
Father's Day! We had a fun day of eating out with my dad and Grandma K, hangin' around the house, and watching DCI (drum corps) practice. Very cool! Since Josh has no job right now, we are not spending any extra money, so poor guy--he didn't get a 'real' gift this year. We'll make up for it later on!
Here are the kids with Grandpa: (love Dylan's smile!)
Jodee and Great Grandma K: (what kind of face is Jo making?)
Father's Day was also our 12th anniversary!! We have had a WONDERFUL 12 years!

Our baby is 5!

Yes, our 'baby'!! I can't believe our youngest is 5....how time flies!
He wanted a Transformer party--it was fun! The cake was actually pretty easy....thankfully he didn't ask for spiderman! ha! That was one of the hardest cakes I've ever made. This one, Optimus Prime was not too bad.

He received Transformer jammies from his Grandpa--and has worn them EVERY day since! (Sometimes as his clothes for the day!) He loves them!
Here he is with his big balloon, and cupcakes ready for his friend party. A bunch of 5 year old boys---yes, it was ALL outside!! We swam, played in the sprinkler, jumped on the trampoline, and had cupcakes and snow cones. Great summer birthday party!
One of his favorite things is dressing up. I got this costume in January I think--for like $10. Perfect for a present for Dylan! And, watch in October....if I can convince him, he might be Iron Man for Halloween!! For the family party, we had the kids go rest in their rooms so I could clean the house a little, and Dylan fell asleep! He did NOT want to wake up--even to open presents! Poor kid! Daddy helped him open presents, blow out his candle...basically everything. Then, after all of that was over, he got a little more cheerful and enjoyed the presents Dad opened for him. Crazy guy! It was sad, but a little funny too! This is what he looked like for the presents: You never know what to expect with kids, huh? I am still learning that even after 3 kids!

Well, I think he had a great birthday! He is a big 5 year old now!!
