A conversation

I was outside playing catch with the kids, when Dustin asked me if they would have school tomorrow. I told him I didn't know, but probably. He told me, " I bet we don't, because, 1. My toes are cold. 2. The roads are icy. 3. I like school, but I don't always like to go to school, and 4. The buses can't drive on the icy roads." He then tells me, that tomorrow is Thursday, which I know, and that he could handle going on Friday, because they don't do a whole lot on Friday's.
Too funny! I love his first point....his toes are cold.

Winter weather

Yay!! "Snow" days--no school today or tomorrow. We have been having so much fun playing in the ice/sleet. These pictures are actually from yesterday (Monday), when the ice had just started. It looks a lot better today--and yes, we played outside 4 different times today--I know, I'm crazy! We sled in the field behind our house, and up at OC....too much fun!

ICE!! We also enjoyed having daddy home early yesterday...we all played play-dough together and made some cool creations: (this one is Jodee's)

Jodee had a great gymnastics meet last weekend! She has improved SO much since November!!

Our new little friend

My sister got the kids a hamster for Christmas... I think they finally decided to call him, "Buddy". They've gone through a few different names, but this one has stuck around the longest.

He's really cute! A little jumpy, but we haven't lost him yet! :)

Sunny Days!

We are absolutely loving these nice, warm, January days we've been having! They keep saying it's going to get cold, so we spend as much time as we can outside. It's been wonderful!

Swingin' at the zoo--these kids can swing SO high! I love that they can pump themselves...no more "push me, mommy!" (Not that I ever minded, but it is really nice that they can do it themselves!)

Makin' S'mores!

We received a really cool s'more maker for Christmas, and LOVE it! It's like the kind they have at Lottinvilles restaurant, for those of you from Edmond. Dustin is the only kid that actually eats s'mores...the others like to roast the marshmallows and give them away. And eat the chocolate. But that's okay--we still have fun!

Yes, they're all (except Jodee) decked out in UT stuff! It was Monday night, the night UT played...
